Stepping Star Gymnastics Offers Two Programs Per Year.

Our School Year Session runs September-June / Summer Session runs July-August.

SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM – 9/5/2023 – 6/24/2024

Our school year session is a 10 month program with monthly tuition based on a total of 39 classes. Students may enter our program at any time. The current month’s tuition will be pro-rated if necessary based on your start date.

PRICING:

CLASS ENROLLMENT FEE

$45 per student (Sept-Nov)

$40 per student (Dec-Feb)

$35 per student (Mar-June)

The class enrollment fee is required to enroll in monthly instructional classes and will be added to your tuition on enrollment date. Enrollment fee with be charged to your account with first months tuition.  The fee covers administrative cost and student/athlete secondary insurance. As part of our summer special this fee is deferred for all students new to the summer program. If continuing into the school year program, the class enrollment fee will be due with your September tuition.

The enrollment fee is non-refundable. Enrollment fee is valid from the time of registration through the school year season. 

MONTHLY CLASS TUITION

45 Min Class Tuition – $98 per month

60 Min Class Tuition – $111 per month

-15% discount for Siblings & Multi-Class

-10% discount for Military (military ID is required at the time of registration).

Stepping Star Gymnastics school year program has a flat rate monthly tuition based on 39 total classes.  

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1. SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM TUITION PAID IN FULL – credit/debit card / check / checking account / cash

Pay total balance of tuition for the school year season. Sept 5th 2023 through June 24th 2024.  This option does not allow for class cancellations/refunds.

2. AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PLAN – Checking accounts only

Once enrolled in our classes, you will stay enrolled with monthly tuition charges until the school year session ends or you withdraw from class. If you choose to withdraw for the upcoming month, a written notice must be submitted to the office via email by the 15th of the current month. Once tuition is charged for the upcoming month, you have committed for that month. We do not issue a refund if you withdraw earlier in the month and there are classes remaining. Your tuition is based on enrollment (guaranteed spot) and not a reflection of attendance.

Class tuition is automatically charged on the 20th of each month for the upcoming month using the checking account you have on file. Changes may be made to your checking account at any time through your customer portal or by email.  A payment receipt will be emailed to the billing contact’s email address on file.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

If you choose to withdraw for the upcoming month, a written notice must be submitted to the office via email by the 15th of the current month. Once tuition is charged for the upcoming month, you have committed for that month. We do not issue a refund if you withdraw earlier in the month and there are classes remaining. Your tuition is based on enrollment (guaranteed spot) and not a reflection of attendance.

There are no refunds or spots held due to illness, injury, vacation, etc. 

Classes with less than 50% enrollment may be canceled or rescheduled for an alternate day and time. If you are unable to switch to another time slot we will cancel your enrollment and refund you for the remainder of classes in the month.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

If within your child’s first month of classes (new students only) you are not satisfied for any reason, we will refund 100% of your tuition.

RETURNED PAYMENT

Returned payment or late payment fee is $25.00. Stepping Star may drop your enrollment after 14 days without receiving payment.  

HOLIDAY CLOSING DATES

Tuition is a flat rate based on a total of 39 classes. Depending on the month you will get three, four or five classes.  We do not raise tuition for months you receive 5 classes, nor do we pro-rate for months you receive 3 classes.

No classes will be held on the following dates, no make-ups will be necessary to maintain our 39 total classes: 

  • September 5 – Labor Day (exception make up needed)
  • October 31 – Halloween
  • November 22-25  – Thanksgiving
  • December 24 – January 1  – Winter Break
  • April 1-6- Spring Recess
  • May 27 — Memorial Day

If Stepping Star Gymnastics cancels classes for any reason, we will provide information with regards to a make-up option.

MAKE UP CLASSES

Your tuition pays for a class spot, regardless of attendance. However, as a courtesy, a make up class is available to all members once per month.  Stepping Star needs a 24 hour advance notice to schedule your make-up. Walk-ins will not be allowed.

Students will receive one make up per month. They will have one month following the missed class to make the class up. Missed make up classes may not be rescheduled. If a student drops from a class all makeups will be forfeited. 

Holiday closings listed on this page will not be made up and are not included in your tuition fees. (With the exception of Halloween). 

If you know you will miss a class in advance, please let us know. Many of our classes are full. Knowing your child will be absent allows us to offer make-ups to others.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Gymnastics attire: We prefer leotards for girls, athletic wear or fitted shorts are optional – Shorts and T-shirts that can be tucked in for boys.  No buttons, zippers, snaps, skirts, strings or loose fitting clothing. Gymnastics shoes and socks are preferred to bare feet. No jewelry, “fit bits” or watches. – Long Hair Tied Back – No gum chewing.

Parents are welcome to view classes throughout the season. Access to viewing is limited to gym areas with bench seating only. Adults and other non members are not permitted in gym areas, and never allowed on any gym flooring, matting or equipment . Gym areas are for students only.

Parents assisting children (4 yrs and younger) regularly or for special activities, must sign a release form available at the front desk. Parental assistance is limited to one parent per student. Siblings are not allowed to tagalong. This will allow for the best teaching environment. 

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the event of inclement weather, we notify our families via email. You will receive notification for morning classes by 8:30 am and evening classes by 2:30pm. We do not follow any school district closings.

CLASSES

Class instructors may be subject to change without notice.

WAIT LISTS

  1. We monitor our waiting lists daily and will keep watching for an opening for you.
  2. It is difficult to estimate how long you will be on the waiting list.  Class openings depend on students transferring out of the class, for various reasons, to make room for new students.  Sometimes customers are on a waiting list for a day, sometimes for months.  We encourage you to enroll in another available class time and wait list for your ideal class time so that your child can still participate in the meantime.  If none of our available class times work for you, register for the wait list on as many class times you could do to increase your chances of getting into one of them.
  3. If an opening in a class you are wait listed on becomes available, the office will email you.  You will have 24 hours to respond and let us know if you would like to enroll in that class before we move on to the next person on the waiting list or open it up to the public.
  4. You are not charged anything to remain on a waiting list.  Once enrolled in a class, you will be charged at that time for current tuition.  We will pro-rate the current month’s tuition based on your start date, if necessary.
  5. You can check your account, or register for other classes at any time through your customer portal.  You won’t see your waiting lists in your customer portal.
